Who may qualify
Qualification is based on your child's diagnosis — nothing else
Your family may qualify for a settlement if:
- Your child was diagnosed with NAS (neonatal abstinence syndrome) or neonatal withdrawal at birth.
- Your child may have spent time in the NICU, or has had feeding or growth issues, breathing problems, or developmental or behavioral delays — though none of these are required to ask.
- You are the child's parent or legal guardian — including adoptive parents, grandparents, and foster or kinship caregivers with guardianship.

These settlement programs exist because opioid manufacturers set aside funds for children affected at birth. Filing a claim is an administrative process — it is not a lawsuit against any doctor, hospital, or person you know.
